He tries to be nice to her, but she won’t talk to him, and he doesn’t understand her behavior, and he hates being cooped up in her tiny cave while she brings him tea and carries off his waste products and saves him from dying of the enormous gaping lion wound in his thigh.

But I don't think jondalar would have ever said quote go for it. I also don't know if it was on purpose but it was mamuti not manuti. And giving Ayla the power to go into people's brains and change them was a little over the top. But, really, Ayla is a bit much.
